Collection: Selenium Glass

Selenium was used to create pink and red glass, with some variations that glow an intense pink under UV light. Over time, some manufacturers began to use selenium instead of manganese to clarify the glass. Since selenium does not fluoresce as brightly as most uranium or cadmium glass, it is advisable to use a large spotlight or a single spotlight to enhance the glow in your display.

All of my pictures were taken using a dark beam 365nm flashlight. All items are preloved. I strive to accurately describe any imperfections, but I may occasionally overlook something, as I am only human. All items are sold as-is, and no returns are accepted. If you would like additional pictures of an item, please send me a message, and I will be more than happy to provide them.
